When I thought up the title for this post, my mind drifted immediately to my sweet hubby's hunting days. We were first engaged almost 27 years ago while still in college. He, a farm boy to my way of thinking, lived in a rural town on an acre of land. Hunting season was playtime in that part of East Texas and I'll never forget the weekend that Bubba (yep, I've always called my brother Bubba – no lie!) took sweet hubby out to shoot some dove.

Marji is a recently "graduated" homeschooling mom whose twin girls have blessed her by sticking around the nest for a little longer. She spends her days directing the children’s music program at her church and working with the authors of Write Integrity Press to put out the best possible version of their books. This is the same advice my Mom always gives me about music 😉 She constantly tells me to reach higher, try harder, etc. I may not seem easy in the moment, but testing your boundaries can pay off in the long run 🙂

I needed to hear this, Marji. I lean toward shooting for the easy target and not striving for the real goal. Good words, girl! If you keep working as hard as you are, you will get there sooner than you think.
