I can't believe we're almost done with this round! I also can't believe I've completed another full novel in less than two months! Would never have been able to do it without the ROW80 goals and the encouragement from folks stopping by. That means so much!

Author: Marji Laine

Marji is a homeschooling mom with teenage twins left in the nest. She spends her days transporting to and from volleyball, teaching writing classes at a local coop, and directing the children’s music program at her church. Raised in suburban Dallas, she got her first taste of writing through the stories of brilliant authors of their day, Mignon Eberhart and Phyllis A. Whitney, and through stage experience. After directing and acting in productions for decades, Marji started writing her own scripts. From that early beginning, she delved into creating scintillating suspense with a side of Texas sassy. She invites readers to unravel their inspiration, seeking a deeper knowledge of the Lord’s Great Mystery that invites us all.

  3. Great update! Congrat's on completing the novel and good luck with the new goal! :)The second half of my week looks to be a repeat of the first – politics and hunger games (reading the second book already!) :/

  4. So glad you're having a YEA week, Loree. I'm struggling a little under pressure. Have to have a website laden with content by Friday – yikes! Lots of research! Had to MAKE myself go out last night, but I had fun once I was there. Will show pics next week!Brandi, I had to add to my first book about 5k. Ended up returning a chapter that I'd removed – simple, but not such a good thing. It was a lousy chapter! I'll be readdressing that when I do another set of revisions on that story.

  6. Congratulations on finishing your book, Marji! I'm so impressed that you finished not one, but TWO, novels in a couple of months. Way to go!Right now, I'm trying to shorten my WIP to fit the word requirement (75,000). I have to cut 5,000 words. I'm looking at my outline and scratching my head, lol!

  7. I'm really liking the way the story is taking shape through the revisions, but you're right. I really have to get my head into it before I can make any progress at all.
