I always have to get past my sweet hubby’s birthday on the first before I really feel it! But he deserves a day of his own that isn’t connected to the following holiday. (I’ve always done the same thing for my son who celebrates on October 26th.) Now I need to brag a bit before I move on, because this wonderful guy has changed so much (only on the outside, thank goodness, ’cause he’s always been awesome on the inside) in the past year. I’ve got a great before and after pics.
I’m so proud of my guy! And after his Happy Birthday, I can settle into some serious Christmas focus.
So Much to Celebrate
I’m so divided this week. First, is the opening of the musical that my girls and I are doing. We’re rehearsing like crazy, but this weekend is going to be so amazing! Two From Galilee is such an inspiring story that reminds me of how much God loves me. I even blogged about it last week! If you’re in the Dallas area, you don’t want to miss this extraordinary event! A Broadway-style musical that’s totally FREE! Find out more about it at TwofromGalilee.org.
And Today It Begins!
Did you see the news last week? Can you believe it? I know the Lord can do exceeding abundantly more than I can ever ask or imagine (Eph 3:20), but what an amazing blessing!
As the Magnificent Hope Christmas Party continues (Do come by! New folks and pics and posts everyday!), The Christmas Tree Treasure Hunt begins TODAY! Joan Campbell is the chapter author today! You can find her favorite Christmas memory and recipe at the Write Integrity Press blog and a link to her chapter as well! You don’t want to miss a single leg of Grace’s journey. New sections will be linked every day! (My chapter will be up on Friday of this week and Monday of next week – Squee!)
Then at the end of our journey, you will find you’re in for a special treat! The whole book will be available on Kindle for FREE from December 14-17. Don’t have a Kindle? No worries! You can down load the application at Amazon.com for free! Just do a search for Kindle for PC on the Amazon site.
I know we’re beyond Thanksgiving at this point, but I find myself so grateful, so unworthy and awed at the Lord’s adoration. What an amazing thing He has done for us!
Your Turn: What are you most looking forward to this Christmas season?
