Marji Laine: Faith~Driven Fiction

. . . Authentic and Intense

I’m Reading Along!

A Novella by the authors of Write Integrity Press and guest writer, Marji LaineHave you been reading The Christmas Tree Treasure Hunt? What a fun story – yes, I’m reading along! In fact, the last two nights I’ve stayed up past midnight to read the next episode – sort of like a bedtime story! Sweet!

But that’s not all there is to this project! Each day the authors are sharing their favorite Christmas recipes and memories at the Write Integrity Press blog. Today’s article, from Ruth O’Neil, inspired me to actually cook – yes, ME! And then I shed a few tears with her Christmas memory story. I know, not so hard to believe, but a dear story with some great pictures.

Make sure you check it out. And don’t miss The Christmas Tree Treasure Hunt! Here’s the link to chapter 1 part 1 and part 2, and then today’s link to chapter 2 part 1 is here.

Author: Marji Laine

Marji is a homeschooling mom with teenage twins left in the nest. She spends her days transporting to and from volleyball, teaching writing classes at a local coop, and directing the children’s music program at her church. Raised in suburban Dallas, she got her first taste of writing through the stories of brilliant authors of their day, Mignon Eberhart and Phyllis A. Whitney, and through stage experience. After directing and acting in productions for decades, Marji started writing her own scripts. From that early beginning, she delved into creating scintillating suspense with a side of Texas sassy. She invites readers to unravel their inspiration, seeking a deeper knowledge of the Lord’s Great Mystery that invites us all.
