Bringing a Sacrifice of Praise

Dinks at endAfter weeks of preparation, opening night for “Two From Galilee” is tomorrow. What a delight this whole experience has been. Not only have I gotten to work with REMARKABLE people, I’ve gotten to share the whole thing with my girls. That makes for an extraordinary Christmas!

Precious Redhead sings GloriaI can tell you that this is the most challenging stage work I’ve ever done, and probably the hardest thing about it is keeping my composure when I see again the glory of God in a precious baby. There are also a few key songs that move me to tears! So glad I’m not on stage during those! 🙂

I know, it’s just a production. But may the wonder and delight of what the Father gave to us that night never grow old. May the joy that prompted the angels to sing, that wouldn’t let them keep silent, fill my heart anew. May it fill yours this Christmas season! Author: Marji Laine

Marji is a homeschooling mom with teenage twins left in the nest. She spends her days transporting to and from volleyball, teaching writing classes at a local coop, and directing the children’s music program at her church. Raised in suburban Dallas, she got her first taste of writing through the stories of brilliant authors of their day, Mignon Eberhart and Phyllis A. Whitney, and through stage experience. After directing and acting in productions for decades, Marji started writing her own scripts. From that early beginning, she delved into creating scintillating suspense with a side of Texas sassy. She invites readers to unravel their inspiration, seeking a deeper knowledge of the Lord’s Great Mystery that invites us all.
