Marji Laine: Faith~Driven Fiction

. . . Authentic and Intense

Bye Bye Google Reader

I confess, I’ve rarely read blogs in my Reader. BUT I follow a lot of blogs. (I had no idea how many!) So last night I got on my Google Reader and found I really didn’t want to lose so many connections. Blogs that I might find again, but likely not.

Since Google Reader is going away forever, I needed to do something to save my links! (Tweet this!)

Enter Feedly.com. I learned about Feedly on Thomas Umstattd’s Author Media and I’m so glad I did! It has to be the easiest thing I’ve done so far on the internet. Seriously! I just clicked the link, it picked up my Gmail account where my Google Reader came from and transferred all of the links automatically. Even kept my categories!

Invaluable!

Now here’s the thing: You only have another couple of days to take care of this.

Google Reader disappears July 1, along with all of your links. (Tweet this!)

Do your update now while you’re thinking about it. Oh and make sure you include Faith~Driven Fiction in your transfer. We don’t want to lose touch!

Author: Marji Laine

Marji is a homeschooling mom with teenage twins left in the nest. She spends her days transporting to and from volleyball, teaching writing classes at a local coop, and directing the children’s music program at her church. Raised in suburban Dallas, she got her first taste of writing through the stories of brilliant authors of their day, Mignon Eberhart and Phyllis A. Whitney, and through stage experience. After directing and acting in productions for decades, Marji started writing her own scripts. From that early beginning, she delved into creating scintillating suspense with a side of Texas sassy. She invites readers to unravel their inspiration, seeking a deeper knowledge of the Lord’s Great Mystery that invites us all.
