Read today's chapter of A Dozen Apologies at Write Integrity Press. Mara Adkins from A Dozen Apologies

Mara Adkins from A Dozen Apologies

So the votes have been counted for the favorite hero in A DOZEN APOLOGIES, and a clear winner has emerged.

Mara is sitting on pins and needles. She posted yesterday (did you know she has a Facebook profile?) that she’s starting to hear the Jeopardy song playing. I told her that I knew it was tough. As an author, I can just go on to my next novel while she waits around wondering who she gets set up with.

And besides, I already have a Valentine! 🙂

I mean this is her life we’re talking about. Well, “life.” She is, after all, only a character. Did you read her story? You can find much of it at Write Integrity Press. And more insight, through Mara’s journal, is here on Faith~Driven Fiction.

Besides those articles, find out which authors wrote which chapters! Fay Lamb reveals all on her blog, On the Ledge! And the authors also tell their own most romantic stories with editor Tracy Ruckman!

As for the rest of the story, though. The fella that Mara has fallen in love with is still to be disclosed.

Nope. I don’t even know the winner.

But you can find out on Friday when A DOZEN APOLOGIES is FREE – in its entirity!

I can’t wait to find out which hero got the girl! And as to heroes, stay tuned tomorrow to find out the driving force behind fictional romance – complete with examples!

Author: Marji Laine

Marji is a recently "graduated" homeschooling mom whose twin girls have blessed her by sticking around the nest for a little longer. She spends her days directing the children’s music program at her church and working with the authors of Write Integrity Press to put out the best possible version of their books. Raised in suburban Dallas, she got her first taste of writing through the stories of brilliant authors of their day, Mignon Eberhart and Phyllis A. Whitney, and through stage experience. After directing and acting in productions for decades, Marji started writing her own scripts. From that early beginning, she delved into creating scintillating suspense with a side of Texas sassy. She invites readers to unravel their inspiration, seeking a deeper knowledge of the Lord’s Great Mystery that invites us all.
