Cover Reveal for GRIME BEAT

3dbookcoverGF1Please welcome GRIME BEAT! The first book in the Grime Fighter novella series which will be available on Amazon starting tomorrow morning (barring unforeseen complications.)

Sound a little like labor and delivery? There’s a reason for that!

I’m so pleased with the way the cover turned out. I had some excellent advice from tried and true authors! Special thanks to Jennifer Slattery, who made suggestions on the concept and Carole Towriss, who guided me in finding and choosing fonts. And I also appreciate Lena Nelson Dooley, Kellie Coates, Gilbert, Lee Carver, Jackie Castle, and Patricia Pacjac Carroll, who put in their two cents on the almost-final draft.

All in all, I think creating my cover has been my favorite part of this journey! Well, besides writing “The End.”

EmGnKTThe model is a graduate buddy of my Precious Redhead. She frequently attends the college Bible study that we have in our home. That is, when she isn’t traveling with her college softball team!

Here’s a pic of them together at their senior prom. I love getting to be a photographer at that event every year!

There’s no denying that I’m as nervous as an about-to-be-mommy! I hope you love the cover. And I especially hope you’ll grab the book tomorrow and love it as well! I’ll be updating all of my links as soon as the book goes live, so come right back to MarjiLaine.com and hit one of the direct links!

Author: Marji Laine

Marji is a recently "graduated" homeschooling mom whose twin girls have blessed her by sticking around the nest for a little longer. She spends her days directing the children’s music program at her church and working with the authors of Write Integrity Press to put out the best possible version of their books. Raised in suburban Dallas, she got her first taste of writing through the stories of brilliant authors of their day, Mignon Eberhart and Phyllis A. Whitney, and through stage experience. After directing and acting in productions for decades, Marji started writing her own scripts. From that early beginning, she delved into creating scintillating suspense with a side of Texas sassy. She invites readers to unravel their inspiration, seeking a deeper knowledge of the Lord’s Great Mystery that invites us all.
