I Love a Good Mystery!

Same Empty Space

office-1Have you ever noticed how most offices look alike? I mean remove the paintings and extraneous furniture or maybe an add on here and there and you have the same empty space, Right?

That concept inspired my newest book!

Grime Wave is the second in my GRIME FIGHTER series.

Here’s the short version:

file5081263246509Finding the body of a dead man would freak out anyone. Even someone with Dani Foster’s gruesome job. She can’t help but join the search for this murderer. Maybe because she found the body or because her friend is a suspect. Maybe the deep-seated drive to work on the case is to stay close to Crime Scene Specialist Jay Hunter. She excuses her actions as the normal ones of a detective’s daughter.

Though no one’s supposed to know about that.

hospital-officeJay Hunter can’t escape the sharp eyes and keen mind that Dani has, or her beauty and fun-loving spirit. Her help might be exactly what he needs to secure the promotion he’s been hoping for. Though he can’t stand the thought of her being in danger. Not after the last time.

You’ll find Grime Wave as an ebook on Amazon within the next two weeks! Stand by!

Your Turn: Think of the last business that you visited. Did it have any outstanding characteristic or was it another “same empty space?”

Author: Marji Laine

Marji is a recently "graduated" homeschooling mom whose twin girls have blessed her by sticking around the nest for a little longer. She spends her days directing the children’s music program at her church and working with the authors of Write Integrity Press to put out the best possible version of their books. Raised in suburban Dallas, she got her first taste of writing through the stories of brilliant authors of their day, Mignon Eberhart and Phyllis A. Whitney, and through stage experience. After directing and acting in productions for decades, Marji started writing her own scripts. From that early beginning, she delved into creating scintillating suspense with a side of Texas sassy. She invites readers to unravel their inspiration, seeking a deeper knowledge of the Lord’s Great Mystery that invites us all.
