I Love a Good Mystery!

A Look Back

January 1Have you looked back at 2015? What did you accomplish? What goals did you fail to achieve?

I’ll tell you mine, if you’ll share some of yours! I break my goals into business, family, and personal ones.

This year actually proved rather successful as far as business goals went. I didn’t set them until a workshop in early March, but they still spanned the entire year. In my business, I intended to Continue reading

Archaic Writing

20150223_163441I’m coming off a seriously traumatic week last week. Well, it seemed like it at the time. I sat in a local Best Buy trauma care center (known as Geek Squad) and heard the worst. “There’s nothing more I can do here.”

Ach! I had to surgically detach my fingertips from my precious keyboard and allow the “doctors” to wrap it up and send it via electronic Care Flight (UPS) to some unknown destination where the experts will attempt to right my baby. And this coming the day after Continue reading

Bye Bye Google Reader

I confess, I’ve rarely read blogs in my Reader. BUT I follow a lot of blogs. (I had no idea how many!) So last night I got on my Google Reader and found I really didn’t want to lose so many connections. Blogs that I might find again, but likely not.

My Precious Redhead Blessed My Socks Off!

Beyond the fact that this is my baby girl, the song has an excellent message and the performance is extremely good. It’s just a little past the 9 minute mark in the video below. Near the front of the service, but after a baptism and another song. I just had to share!

I tried really hard to embed this link, but nothing doing. I hope you’ll click through HERE and check out her song!

The Wonder

And he shall be called, “Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.”

May your tomorrow be energized with joy and full of delight. May your family give you comfort and peace. And may Christmas day not pass without a refilling of the awe and wonder of the amazing grace that God lavished on us with the gift of His Son.

Where Do You Go?

ICE at the Gaylord TexanDSCN0034

I had a blast tonight visiting the lights display at the Gaylord Texan. So gorgeous – and COLD!

By the way, I’ve also found a new favorite restaurant! Babe’s in downtown Carrollton has the best country food I’ve ever put in my mouth! YUM! With a down-home atmosphere and serving family style, it will definitely be my choice at every opportunity!

Christmas Break

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

I hope that this Christmas season will be full of rich blessings for you! I hope that your heart will be warmed with the Lord’s goodness and His delight over you. And I hope I’ll see you again after Christmas!

But for the next several days, I’m going to try very hard to keep my computer closed! Yeah, I know. What are the odds? Ha! Still I’m going to TRY!

Catch you on the flip side! (Oh I just realized how many people aren’t going to get that idiom! I’m showing my age!)
